not used this blog in a while.. so thought I would keep it a bit up to date from now on.

Summer Sundae festival was awesome, one of our top moments as a band and we are very grateful for those who came to watch us play so thank you to all who came down to watch. Hope you all had a good time, share with us your photos/videos/reviews of the weekend!

Got a chance to meet some cool people, with The Antlers & Warpaint being some to name drop and who both delivered incredible performances yesterday!

y-not festival

we have been invited to play this years y-not festival in matlock this summer. we will be playing on the opening day of the festival friday 31st july opening for the acts los campesinos and the futureheads and more. other bands performing over the weekend are the subways, mystery jets, blood red shoes, get.cape.wear.cape.fly and many more. for tickets and for more info on the other acts playing at the festival, follow the link below.

recording complete

after 2 weeks in the studio, the recording process for our new material is now complete and is in the process of being mixed and mastered. we are very excited to get the new material out, with the new sounds hopefully getting out there in about 2 weeks. keep a lookout on this blog for more details and news on the ep and upcoming summer shows.

recording - day 5

mixing in the studio today, getting guitar layers sorted and adding decoration to the tracks... we are very happy with how all is sounding thus far. they are sounding very big and tastefully resplendent. we will be back in the studio in about 2 weeks time or so to lay the vocal tracks down as well and add finishing touches to the recordings....

recording - day 2

bass tracking/recording is finished for the day... the sound was supported by a spoon and wire in my sock. nice move. also managed to get some keys in the recordings today before tomorrow when we start recording guitar work.
